Honey Holes (secret spots) are everywhere on the Mad River.  Famous for its brown trout, the Mad River runs south from West Liberty, along Urbana and Springfield.  One of the Ohio's few cold water streams, the Mad River is no secret to trout fishermen throughout the region.  But just as it takes a lifetime to master the fly rod, so it goes for the Mad.  Incredibly peaceful and quite, trout fishing on the Mad River is a retreat for all ages and all seasons. This gem of a river is only a stone's throw from the ECO Sports Corridor, but to anyone who has fished the Mad it is clearly a world away from everywhere.  It truly is an adventure within reach!
